“A Stellar Ensemble... A Masterclass in Comedy.”

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

“The cathartic romcom (with) a knockout supporting cast…This Richard Curtis-like comedy sees Bea on fine form.”

THE GUARDIAN

“And Mrs is likely the most offbeat rom-com you’ll see this year…Funny, morbid, and slyly satirical, it’s terrific fun.”

IRISH EXAMINER

****

“A rom-com unlike any you've seen before...that gives you as many laughs as it will tears.”

DIGITAL SPY

“And Mrs does something magical. Finding comedy... in bereavement.”

THE REVIEWS HUB

*****

“And Mrs subverts the expectations of its romantic comedy packaging with an emotional beat at its core… Calling And Mrs a romantic comedy is almost doing it a disservice.  That’s not to belittle the genre or the fact that this film is, indeed, both romantic and comedic, but there’s a real honesty to how it portrays grief, and audiences expecting lighter fare may best be on guard… A sweet, unforeseeable effort that will make you cry as much as it will cackle.”

THE AU REVIEW

****

“The Best Tragicomedy of 2024.”

CUT TO THE TAKE

“The sleeper hit of the Edinburgh Festival.”

ANNA SMITH: GIRLS ON FILM

"The Exchange is hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt. A unique fish out of water story, it's much more than a face value, raunchy comedy. In reality, it’s a complex look at small-town small-mindedness. It just so happens to be hilarious… this film will surprise you in the best way possible.”

REEL NEWS DAILY

"In this delightful teen comedy, a giant white squirrel costume is destroyed. It’s a metaphor – white squirrels, being rare, stand out and are shunned by other rodents… Canada’s self-satisfied claim of superiority over Americans when it comes to racial harmony is lampooned. The Exchange flips the script – and it’s funny, because it’s true.”

TORONTO GLOBE & MAIL - Critic’s Pick

“It's a very funny set-up and very well done.”

FILMWEEK - NPR LOS ANGELES

“It stands apart from other films of its ilk thanks to biting humor, and a captivating supporting turn from star Avan Jogia.”

PARADE MAGAZINE

"The Exchange is the perfect throwback to 2000s teen comedies… it’s exactly what everyone needs for Friday night entertainment.”

FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE

“From Paris With Love… As feel good and heartwarming as things can get.”

AIPT COMICS

“An exceptionally charismatic performance by Avan Jogia as the glamorous Stéphane really makes The Exchange tick… What a joy to watch an actor with such terrific comedic timing sneak in and tug on heartstrings when least expected.”

CINEMASCHOLARS.COM

“Avan Jogia and Ed Oxenbould each vibe energies, bonding just as wonderfully onscreen as the duo likely bonded offscreen. They share so many truly great moments together that make The Exchange worth watching… I loved their friendship, which makes the emotional gear-shift of the final act into a harmonious character-driven success.”

JOSH AT THE MOVIES

“The Exchange is a fun zero to hero film based on a true story, thanks to some great performances by Ed Oxenbould and Avan Jogia. Definitely worth checking out. RATING: A”

WORLDFILMGEEK.COM

“The Exchange. See it. That should be my review. It is honestly all that I need to do… The film is hilarious and will keep you laughing the entire time.”

ROTUND REVIEWS

“It's a sweet reminder that your plans may not always turn out as expected, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.”
